With the Bears’ season already well underway and Halloween just days away, winter is right around the corner. Because winter in Chicagoland can be cold and unpredictable, it is necessary to properly prepare. While the winter months may not be the best time for exterior painting, the winter months would be great for interior painting. For us in the painting industry, we are preparing for interior projects over the next many months.

There are some important perks of interior painting in winter. For one, indoor projects can be completed at any hour because it does not require exterior sunlight. From a technical perspective, projects can be completed faster because paint takes less time to dry during winter than it would during humid months. Another reason to complete interior painting projects during winter is to allocate any unused budget funds for something positive.  because they open the schedule for other projects that are best done in warm weather, later during the year.
