Lake Forest Academy

Lake Forest Academy Pool Restoration - McCahill Painting restored a large concrete lap pool for our client, taking it from worn and faded to crisp, clean, like-new condition.

PROCESS:

  1. Power washing with 250-degree hot water and gentle chemical cleaners to remove calcium or other contaminants that would interfere with proper paint adhesion.
  2. Inspecting and preparing the concrete with hand tools and power grinding where necessary to remove any loose paint.
  3. Preparing and caulking the control joint.
  4. Cleaning concrete to remove any preparation residue, then masking the area using a laser level.
  5. Applying one full prime coat of Insl-X Epoxy Pool Coating Semi-Gloss Finish IG-40XX, following all manufacturer’s application specifications.
  6. Applying one finish coat of Insl-X Epoxy Pool Coating Semi-Gloss Finish IG-40XX, once again following all of the manufacturer’s specifications to ensure proper adhesion.
  7. Applying all lane stripes and markings as specified.

McCahill Painting is an ISNetworld Member Contractor, underscoring our commitment to safety, training and sound business practices.
