McCahill Painting was trusted to restore the beautiful indoor metal swimming pool and hot tub at The Four Seasons, Chicago.

PROCESS:

1. Vacuum grinding the pool and hot tub to remove existing epoxy paint, rust, mill scale and contaminants. Grinding was also used to ensure a sound surface profile for the new paint. Hand tools were used for precision preparation as needed.
2. Cleaning the surface to remove any preparation residue, then masking the area using a laser level.
3. Applying one full prime coat of Insl-X Epoxy Pool Coating Semi-Gloss Finish IG-40XX, following all manufacturer’s application specifications.
4. Applying one finish coat of Insl-X Epoxy Pool Coating Semi-Gloss Finish IG-40XX, once again following all of the manufacturer’s specifications to ensure proper adhesion.
5. Applying all lane stripes and stair markings as specified.
