What’s more, we do not subscribe to the bait and switch mentality of showing customers a number they want to see only to make up excuses as to why we need to add to that number after the project starts. Change orders do happen, but they should never be the result of incompetent or deceptive estimating processes that do not respect the customer.
Our proposals take a little time because they are complete, and you can actually rely on them.
The last thing we want to do is erode your trust by giving you an on-the-spot quote without taking time to document exactly what we recommend and how we’re going to do it. Or ask you to sign a two-line estimate that is so vague you have to cross your fingers hoping everyone is on the same page or, worse yet, waste your time by having to ask us to go back fill in details that should have been in the proposal to begin with.
